The balcony power plant complete systems from Offgridtec (mpn 013985) are an ideal way to produce part of your required household electricity yourself and significantly reduce your total expenditure on electricity. In addition to a solar module and a suitable micro-inverter, the systems contain everything needed for connection to the household power grid and, if required, for mounting on the balcony railing or roof.
How does a balcony power plant work?
The Offgridtec balcony power plant is a compact Solarasystem. It consists of a solar module and the matching Envertech microinverter for feeding into the household power grid. The inverter is ideally attached directly to the substructure of the solar module and connected to the solar module with the MC4 connectors. the ac cable is connected via the Betteri connector of the inverter and led directly to the usual Schuko socket.
To use the generated solar power in the house power grid no special setting is required. If electricity is already available from local sources, the devices in the household will use this first and then supplement with mains power as required.

Jinko Tiger 370w solar panel monocrystalline - efficiency over 21%
Jinko Tiger N-type 60tr (mpn jkm370n-6tl3) is a 370w solar module with monocrystalline cells and N-type technology. The solar cells use multi-busbar technology, with this, the loss due to microcracks has been efficiently reduced, the current transmission path has been reduced by 50%, and the cell efficiency has been improved. The module is manufactured with the Tiling Ribbon process and Hot 2.0 technology.
The Jinko Solarmodule is certified for use in wind and snow loads up to 2400 Pa and 5400 Pa, respectively, and for its high salt and ammonia resistance. The annealed front glass with high light transmission and low iron content has a thickness of 3.2mm and anti-reflective coating. The frame has an anodized aluminum alloy

Envertech evt300 Microinverter Module Inverter
The evt300 from Envertech is a 1-phase inverter and can be connected to solar modules with a power of 180 - 400w each. The inverter converts the solar power generated by your photovoltaic system, ac-grid compliant and feeds it directly into the utility grid. Each Envertech microinverter is connected individually to a PV module of your system. This unique configuration means that each PV module is controlled by an individual maximum peak power point tracker (mppt). This ensures that the maximum available power from each PV module in the system is fed into the utility grid. The result is the maximum possible energy production from your PV system

Connection set
The complete system contains an ac extension cable (length selectable) with Betteri bc01 plug, suitable for the evt300 inverter, at one end and an angled Schuko plug at the other end of the cable. This enables fast and uncomplicated connection to the Schuko sockets (plug type f) commonly used in Germany.
Optional mounting systems
The Offgridtec balcony power plants are optionally available with or without mounting sets. There is a choice of mounting sets for:
- Balcony railings: with matching C-hooks
- Flat roof: angle of inclination 10° - 60°.
- Plain tile roof: with plain tile roof hooks
- Tiled roof: with 3 adjustable roof hooks
- Corrugated hernite and sheet metal roof: with stainless steel hanger bolts
Balcony power plants in Germany
Currently there is no law or regulation in Germany that regulates the generation of solar power for personal use only. The limit of maximum 600w ac PV power is a reserve value that can be fed into an existing socket circuit of a house without overloading it, according to the current VDE standard. Nothing is described for stand-alone circuits with no additional load.
Any electrical installation should be VDE compliant. However, the operation of a balcony power plant via the usual Schuko socket is not prohibited in principle. Notification to the Federal Network Agency is mandatory. However, there are no known cases of administrative fines for non-notification of balcony power plants, as well as insurmountable problems with network operators. The compliance and implementation of standards and obligations is the responsibility of the plant operator. A lot of technical and legal information can already be found on relevant websites.
