Processing

All substrates must be dry and free of grease and dust. Substrates containing tar and bitumen are unsuitable as bonding substrates. Correct joint dimensioning and pretreatment of the bonding surfaces are prerequisites for proper sealing work. To achieve maximum adhesion, a clean, grease-free and structurally sound substrate is required. beko Ceral-Silicon adheres to many substrates without primer. However, an adhesion test is generally recommended and the use of a primer is necessary if adhesion is poor. Apply beko Ceral-Silicon to the joint under flank pressure. Then smooth with beko smoothing agent and beko joint filler or beko joint finger. Avoid three-sided adhesion.
