LED string lights - decorative and efficient

The special thing about LED string lights besides their enormous luminosity is the low energy consumption. Compared to other lamps  the have a very long life-span of up to 100.000 hours. Especially as lighting for garden parties or as Christmas decoration string lights are very well suited. These single or multi-color illuminants can be connected to a 230V power source and create a special atmosphere indoor or outdoor. The variety of shapes and colors allow individual decorations on windows, balconies, shrubs or trees. Meanwhile they are also available solar-powered.

Flexible decoration

Especially as atmospheric lighting for Christmas string lights have become very popular. Thanks to new materials and technologies they are very flexible in use. In the past string lights were equipped with little light bulbs which have been replaced by modern LEDs. They are mostly supplied with low-voltage power that decreases heat-generation and therefore minimizes the risk of injuries. Battery-powered string lights make installation even more flexible. A special variant of string lights are LED-nets or LED-curtains which can be used for example as romantic ceiling decoration. Not many illuminants or lighting systems create such a special atmosphere as string lights do. This practical allrounder is also used to decorate shop windows or stalls.

Imaginative shapes

LED string lights are available for every occasion and purpose. The variety goes from string lights over LED-nets, LED-lighted branches to LED-curtains. Different length of up to 28 meters or 500 LEDs in white or other colors make string lights very versatile. Many different shapes like candles,  stars, icicles, snowflakes, flowers and others allow individual designs indoor and outdoor. Even with low temperatures they stay operational. As they  contain neither mercury nor lead they are very environmentally friendly and easy to dispose. LEDs are shockproof and immune from varying voltages. Although they are very durable LEDs do not last forever. The positive thing about it is that single LEDs do not simply fall out. Instead their brightness reduces over a certain period until they finally stop working.

LED string lights with plug-in system

For decorations there are also string lights with a plug-in system. That means that different string lights or figures can be individually combined as long as they are compatible. This allows different lighting colors and luminosities within a system. String lights are available in many different variants. However, check the product for its seal of quality. Better spend slightly more on your string light so quality, performance and security are ensured.
