General information:
Photovoltaic systems with the Tarom System Manager can be very complex and powerful.
The connected loads must often be connected directly to the battery because their currents would damage the Tarom controller.
In addition to the solar modules, additional charging devices such as diesel or wind generators are often used which also charge the battery directly, bypassing the Tarom controller.
The state of charge of the battery is calculated by the Tarom taking into account the battery voltage, the input and output currents, the time and with the help of battery characteristics.
An exact, fast and reliable indication of the state of charge (soc) is only possible if the Tarom controller also has knowledge of all external currents to and from the battery.

The current sensor pa hs200 measures the external currents and then transmits these values to the Tarom controllerFloating sensing:
The current measurement of the pa hs200 is contactless and potential-free, you only have to lead the battery cable through the housing. There is no need to disconnect the cable or lose power at a shunt resistor
Scanning is performed magnetically with the aid of a Hall sensor.
The pa hs200 optimally complements your Tarom or PowerTarom system, even large currents up to 200a are detected by the sensor.
All current values are displayed on the Tarom and also stored in the TarCom data logger, which may be connected.
The optimized state of charge calculation also improves the performance of the pa15 receiver in these systems.
The pa hs200 is connected to theTarom via a simple plug-in connection. Power supply and data transmission then run via this connection.

Three sensor types:
You can set the pa hs200 sensor to work in three different ways.
The measured current values can be interpreted as charging current, load current or battery current. With the "charging current sensor" setting, external charging currents, e.g. from wind or diesel generators, can be detected,
as "load current sensor" e.g. large inverters are detected and the setting "battery sensor" registers the sum of all input and output currents in the battery main cable.
Every 20 seconds the current values are transmitted to the Tarom. Successful data transmission is indicated on the pa hs200 by the green led lighting up.
The Tarom controller calculates the external current values with the currents measured itself via the module input and the load output and displays the result.
