Permanent Protection for Electrical Connections

When heated, the tubing shrinks evenly and forms a tight fit around cables or connection points. This creates reliable electrical insulation while simultaneously protecting the connection from moisture, dust, UV radiation, and corrosion. The material used is flame-retardant, halogen-free, and free of PBB, PBBO, and PBBE. The lead content is less than 10 ppm, and the cadmium content is less than 5 ppm.

Easy and Flexible Application

The shrinkage process begins at temperatures as low as approximately 70 °C. A temperature of at least 100 °C is recommended for complete shrinkage. This allows the heat-shrink tubing to be quickly applied using a heat gun or a comparable hot-air tool. Before installation, the tubing can be easily cut to the desired length.
