Dekaseal 8936 from Dekalin (mpn 6250212) is the classic sealant. The dab-on sealant impresses with its high impermeability, UV resistance, and elasticity, which does not harden and remains somewhat permanently tacky. Optimal for use in applications without visible joint edge (flaps, hatches, side windows, keder strips, external sockets, etc.).</br>The simple processing convinces professionals and laymen alike. Additional cleaning work does not arise, since protruding residues can be easily removed by dabbing without residues. The sealant is well applicable without pre-treatment on clean, dry, dust and grease-free surfaces that occur in vehicle construction / caravaning.</br>Dekaseal 8936 can be applied by hand or with the help of a compressed air gun. Its strengths, in addition to the high tightness, are the ease of disassembly, that is, it is well suited for connections that need to be released at a later date. The heavy-duty version of the 2-fold cable roof gland in the colour black. Made of solid ABS plastic and equipped with an IP68 screw connection. The bushings are designed for use in mobile areas on cars, mobile homes or boats. The ideal roof duct for medium mechanical stress (occasional access for maintenance or cleaning). Compared to the light version, 4 times the amount of ABS plastic has been used.
The roof grommet is suitable for cables with an outer diameter of 3-12mm. No information can be given on the suitable cable cross-section, as the thickness of the cable insulation can vary.
If the roof duct has been professionally bonded, it offers solid protection against penetrating moisture and dust in conjunction with the PEG glands. The glands comply with protection class IP68 and are included in the scope of delivery.
As an adhesive, we recommend the Dekalin MS-5 adhesive set. (Not included in the scope of delivery).

In order to attach the child safety device optimally, clean the socket beforehand and let it dry thoroughly. Pull the label off the adhesive surface and push the fuse firmly into the socket. Ideally, wait 12 hours before using it for the first time so that the adhesive can take effect. If the socket protection is no longer required, it can be removed without leaving any residue. Simply heat with a hair dryer and it can be easily peeled off.
Saftey Notice
The recommended age for this fuse is 6 – 24 months. Children are then able to understand and outwit the principle of the turning mechanism. The child lock in no way replaces the duty of supervision, so never leave your child unattended for a long time. These fuses then last optimally if they are used with a Schuko plug (plug type F). It can be used with a Euro flat plug, but it is more common for the fuses to become detached again. If you have any questions or problems, please contact our customer service.
