At Offgridtec, you’ll find the full range of Victron device combinations: from the compact MultiPlus for smaller systems to the powerful Quattro with dual AC inputs. All devices combine an inverter and a charger in a single enclosure and switch over seamlessly in the event of a power outage.
MultiPlus & MultiPlus-II – the classic choice for AC power and charging
The MultiPlus delivers pure sine wave AC power and charges your battery at the same time as soon as shore power or a generator is available. It’s also available in a particularly compact design as the MultiPlus C. The MultiPlus-II series is the newer generation for grid-connected storage systems with integrated grid isolation. It ranges from 3,000 VA to 15,000 VA, and many models are also available with a GX communication unit for system monitoring.
Quattro & Quattro-II – Manage Two AC Sources Simultaneously
The Quattro expands on the MultiPlus principle by adding a second AC input. This allows you, for example, to prioritize between a generator and shore power or to automatically separate critical from non-critical loads—all without manual switching.
EasySolar-II – Inverter, charger, and solar charge controller all in one
The EasySolar-II series combines an inverter/charger with an MPPT solar charge controller and a GX communication unit in the same enclosure—ideal if you want to save space and keep wiring as simple as possible. You can find all models in the Victron EasySolar category.
Which series is right for you?
For smaller applications such as RVs or boats, the compact MultiPlus models with 500 and 800 VA from the Multi 500–1200 VA category or the EasyPlus from the EasyPlus series are suitable. For homes and commercial applications with higher power requirements, the MultiPlus series and the Quattro series are the right choice.
Why Choose Victron Device Combinations from Offgridtec
- Inverter, charger, and transfer switch in a single enclosure
- Power ratings from 500 VA to 15 kVA
- Uninterrupted switching during a power outage

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions About Victron System Combinations
What is a Victron device combination?
A device combination combines an inverter and a battery charger in a single enclosure and provides you with both AC power and a reliable charging function for your battery.
What’s the difference between the MultiPlus and the MultiPlus-II?
The MultiPlus-II is the newer generation. It features built-in grid isolation, making it suitable for grid-connected storage systems. Many models also come with built-in GX communication.
Why do I need a Quattro instead of a MultiPlus?
The Quattro manages two AC sources simultaneously—for example, shore power and a generator—making it suitable for applications with higher requirements for power supply reliability.
What does the GX variant mean?
Devices with the GX designation feature a built-in communication unit that allows you to centrally monitor your system and view it remotely via the VRM platform.
What is an EasySolar-II?
The EasySolar-II combines an inverter, charger, MPPT solar charge controller, and GX communication in a single enclosure and is particularly well-suited for compact, off-grid systems.
How much power do I need for my home?
That depends on your simultaneous power demand. For individual appliances, 3,000W is often sufficient; for an entire house with several high-power appliances, 5,000W or more is recommended. Our team will be happy to advise you on the right system configuration.
Can I connect multiple devices in parallel?
Yes, many Victron device combinations can be connected in parallel or in a three-phase configuration to increase your total power output or to set up a three-phase power system.
