The Victron EasySolar II device combination from Victron (MPN: PMP482307010) combines an inverter/charger, a solar charge controller, and a GX device. The elements are pre-wired and integrated into a single unit. This greatly simplifies most installations and saves time and money.

Display and Wi-Fi

The display shows parameters for the battery, inverter, and solar charge controller. The parameters can be accessed using a smartphone or other Wi-Fi-enabled device. Wi-Fi can also be used to set up the system and change settings

Solar charge controller

The DC output of the SmartSolar MPPT is connected in parallel to the DC connection of the MultiPlus-II inverter/charger. The on/off mechanism of the MultiPlus-II also controls the SmartSolar MPPT

GX device

The integrated GX device includes:

A BMS Can interface. This can be used to connect to a compatible battery managed via the CAN bus. Note that this is not a VE.Can-compatible connection.
A USB port
An Ethernet port
A VE.Direct port

The GX device controls the MultiPlus-II and SmartSolar MPPT with one VE.Bus and one VE.Direct connection each.
