The mTriple solar systems are our all-in-one kits for anyone who wants to play it safe in their RV: The integrated Votronic or VBCS Triple Charger charges your onboard battery either via the solar panel, via the alternator while driving, or using shore power—so you’re never reliant on just one power source. Depending on the model, the set includes two solar panels, the Triple Charger, and the 1247 Charge Control Display for monitoring your system.

The mTriple Models at a Glance

The mTriple S and mTriple Flex S are ideal for smaller RVs, each featuring 2 x 120W of solar power and the Votronic Triple Charger 30/20/250. For higher power demands, the mTriple Flex L with 2 x 160W and the mTriple with 2 x 180W offer more power, each combined with the larger VBCS Triple Charger 45/30/350.

1247 Charge Control Display – Keep an Eye on Your System

The included 1247 Charge Control Display shows you the current charge level of your battery as well as the status of the individual charging sources, so you always know the status of your power supply—convenient for monitoring on the go without having to retrofit any extra accessories.

  • What makes the Votronic or VBCS Triple Charger special?

It charges your onboard battery from up to three sources simultaneously or individually—solar panel, alternator while driving, and shore power. This makes you less dependent on a single power source.

  • What’s the difference between the mTriple and the mTriple Flex?

In our solar systems, the “Flex” suffix generally refers to models with flexible rather than rigidly framed solar panels, which adapt more easily to curved or uneven RV roofs. If you have questions about the specific configuration of your desired model, our customer service team will be happy to assist you.

  • What module power output suits my power needs?

For occasional weekend trips, 2 x 120W is usually sufficient; for regular use or larger power consumers such as a cooler and coffee maker, the 160W or 180W models are a better choice.

  • What does the 1247 Charge Control Display show?

It shows you your battery’s state of charge and indicates which source is currently charging it—so you’ll never lose track of your power supply.

  • Can I install the mTriple system myself?

With basic DIY skills, you can mount it on the RV roof and connect it to the onboard battery. If you’re unsure, we recommend having the installation checked by a professional workshop.

  • Is the mTriple system also suitable for smaller RVs or campers?

Yes, the S models with 2 x 120W are compact enough for smaller vehicles and reliably cover the power needs for lighting, the cooler, and chargers.

  • How does mTriple differ from mBasic and Mobile Black?

The main difference lies in the charge controller: While mBasic is designed for a simple entry-level setup and Mobile Black features a black design with an MPPT Duo charge controller, mTriple offers an additional charging option via the alternator with its Triple Charger.
