The mTriple Flex L solar systems offer the ideal power supply for your motorhome or camper. The combination of the VBCS Triple from Votronic and the ETFE-AL solar module from Offgridtec provides a secure power supply and optimal yields. A continuous supply is ensured in three different ways. Charging from the mains when stationary, charging with the help of the charge booster while driving, and the combination of solar module and MPPT charge controller when the sun is shining. The combination of devices and the semi-flexible solar module reduces the total weight of the system to a minimum, making it ideal for installation on campers or motorhomes

The electronic core – the Votronic VBCS Triple device combination

The VBCS Triple ensures your continuous power supply in three ways. With the 30A Pb mains charger, you can efficiently charge your battery from the mains while stationary. The 45A VCC charging converter allows you to charge the on-board battery while driving. The third option is charging with solar energy using the MPP solar controller for max. 350Wp. The included temperature sensor ensures optimal charging of your batteries.

  • Pb mains charger:Powerful charging of the on-board battery and supply of 12V consumers from the mains. Full charging power in the universal range of 110V/AC-230V/AC without switching is available worldwide, even with large deviations in the mains supply (undervoltage/overvoltage, sine wave, frequency). Thanks to the long-term charging characteristics, the device can be permanently connected to the mains (use, winter break)
  • VCC charging converter:The powerful charging booster enables the on-board battery to be fully charged while driving. It increases/decreases the voltage to the required level so that the on-board battery can be charged with the optimum charging characteristic. It completely compensates for line losses and strong voltage fluctuations in the alternator, as is often the case with Euro 6 vehicles. The 12V consumers supplied are protected against overvoltage and voltage fluctuations.
  • MPP solar controller:The MPP charge controller ensures a 10-30% increase in charging current, shorter charging times, and the best possible utilization of your solar system's power. The MPP technology automatically determines the maximum power output of the connected solar modules several times per second.

The complete system also includes either the Charge Control S display or the VPC Jupiter 200 combi panel from Votronic. Both displays allow the current output of the solar system to be reliably displayed, monitored, and controlled. The Jupiter panel also offers the options of a battery computer and water management.

Flexible solar power supply – the Offgridtec 160W ETFE AL V2 solar module

The semi-flexible ETFE-AL 160W V2 solar panel from Offgridtec (3-01-018435) is based on a groundbreaking material composition (aluminum-ETFE) and is equipped with highly effective mono cells. The output voltage is 18V DC, which makes it very interesting for a wide range of application scenarios. In addition, it is walkable and significantly more slip-resistant than its predecessors, making it the perfect choice for marine and mobile applications. The power is supplied by state-of-the-art solar cells, which, thanks to the latest MONO-PERC technology, boast impressive cell efficiency and also stand out from the crowd with low power degradation values.

Optimal cabling – Manufactured by Offgridtec Kabelmanufaktur

The mTriple solar system is delivered according to the plug & play principle with all the connection cables required to commission the system. The cables are all manufactured in our in-house cable factory and offer optimal connection quality. The 8 m long connection cable from the module to the charge controller allows for flexible installation, depending on the conditions on site. The battery cables have an integrated MIDI fuse holder to protect the charge controller and the technology behind it in the event of a short circuit or overcurrent. The fuses suitable for the system are also included.

Mounting hardware included

The complete system is supplied with all the mounting materials required for attachment to your vehicle. The Dekalin adhesive set, for bonding the solar modules to the vehicle roof, contains white adhesive, cleaning wipes, a wool wiper, and the Dekavator bonding agent. The Offgridtec roof feed-through creates the connection between the solar module on the roof and the charge controller inside the vehicle. The version with two solar modules also includes a pair of branch sockets for connecting the two modules in parallel.
