Accessibility is not an empty promise for us, but a real concern. That’s why we do everything we can to make our website as user-friendly and accessible as possible in accordance with legal requirements.
It’s important to us that no one is left out and that everyone can use our website without any problems. We strive to make our content as accessible as possible in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
In this statement we inform you about the current state of accessibility of our website and the measures we are taking to improve it.
Level of compliance with the requirements
The goal is for this website to be fully compliant with the requirements of Directive (EU) 2019/882 in connection with EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.
The evaluation of the website was carried out through a comprehensive self-assessment and the use of supporting testing tools (including WAVE, axe DevTools, Lighthouse).
This resulted in the following status, which is currently being worked on:
- some buttons still have no discernible text
- some images still lack alternative text
- For certain ARIA roles, specific parent roles are missing
- For certain ARIA roles, specific child roles are missing
- some < select > element names
- Labels for < form > elements
- ARIA attributes used with valid names
- Headings: heading levels are not semantic & certain levels are missing and are thus empty
- Landmarks role: role/label/title (accessible name)
- Content in a landmark region
