Concrete base
Wattstone concrete bases represent an innovative solution in the field of flat roof PV mounting systems. The desire to improve the previously complicated installation of PV modules led to the development of an L-shaped stone made of fine concrete. It serves as both ballast and elevation. From now on, it takes just a few minutes to place a PV module on a surface. No more drilling, no more additional ballast—simply place the Wattstones and screw the PV modules onto them. Done!
Angle of inclination
The Wattstone concrete bases are available in 4 different angles of inclination: 0 degrees, 6 degrees, 10 degrees, or 15 degrees
Colors
With Wattstone, you can also choose between anthracite and natural gray.
M8 thread
The integrated M8 threads are used to securely fasten PV modules. Two threads for module fastening and one thread for optional mounting of cable ducts or wind deflectors are already cast into the concrete base on the rear side.
Certification
The concrete bases have been tested for friction coefficient and wind tunnel tested. The bases lie securely on smooth bitumen, bitumen with slate, PVC, EPDM, and smooth concrete. This applies in both dry and wet conditions.
FAQ
- What is the function of Wattstone concrete bases? The concrete bases not only serve as a stable substructure for solar modules, but also offer maximum flexibility during installation.
- What are the advantages of Wattstone concrete bases? 1. Substructure and ballast in one 2. No drilling of the roof structure necessary 3. Simple and quick installation
- How are the PV modules attached? The PV modules are attached to the cast-in M8 threads of the concrete base using center and end clamps.
- What components do I need to install a PV module? You will need 2 WATTSTONE concrete bases, 4 matching module end clamps, each with M8 screws and washers, 8 building protection mats, size 150x150x5mm (rubber granulate base), and 1 6mm angle wrench.
