Offgridtec Solar Cable 2x6mm² H1Z2Z2-K 6mm² Two-Conductor Solar Cable, Black

The Offgridtec two-conductor solar cable, 2×6 mm², black (MPN: 8-01-015620), is a two-conductor solar cable designed for wiring photovoltaic systems. Two fine-stranded, tinned copper conductors, each with a cross-sectional area of 6 mm², run parallel to each other and are connected by a separator. This allows the positive and negative conductors to be laid together and separated from each other if necessary. The cable is rated for up to 1.5 kV DC and is sold by the meter.

Two conductors in a single solar cable

The two conductors are connected in parallel via a separator and can therefore be installed together. If necessary, the twin cable can be split into two individual cables without special tools. This facilitates clear cable routing within the PV installation, particularly when positive and negative cables run in parallel.

Tinned copper conductors and XLPO insulation

Inside, fine-stranded, tinned copper conductors, each with a cross-sectional area of 6 mm², are used. The conductors are surrounded by cross-linked XLPO insulation. The outer jacket is also made of XLPO. The outer dimensions of the twin cable are 6.3 × 13.0 mm.

Designed to withstand UV exposure and weathering

The solar cable is designed for use in photovoltaic systems and is UV- and weather-resistant in accordance with HD 605/A1. The specified temperature range is from -25 to +120 °C. The rated voltage is AC 1.0/1.0 kV or DC 1.5 kV.

Sold by the meter for flexible cable lengths

The two-conductor solar cable is sold by the meter. One ordered unit corresponds to one meter. Multiple units are delivered as a single, continuous length of cable.
