The Offgridtec dispenser box (MPN: vk14) contains transparent heat-shrink tubing for electrical insulation and protection of cables, wires, and connection points. With a shrink ratio of 2:1, the inner diameter is reduced by half when heated, ensuring a precise fit and a permanently secure covering. Depending on the model, the heat-shrink tubing is available in lengths of 5 m or 10 m and in various diameters, and is delivered in a convenient dispenser box. The transparent version allows cable markings and labels to remain visible even after installation.

Reliable protection combined with high visibility
When heated, the heat-shrink tubing fits evenly and tightly around cables or connection points. This permanently insulates electrical contacts and reliably protects them from moisture, dust, UV radiation, and corrosion. Thanks to its transparent design, any labels or markings underneath remain visible. The material used is flame-retardant, halogen-free, and free of PBB, PBBO, and PBBE. The lead content is less than 10 ppm, and the cadmium content is less than 5 ppm.
Easy to Use
The shrink process begins at a temperature of approximately 70 °C. A temperature of at least 100 °C is recommended for complete shrinkage. The heat-shrink tubing can be applied quickly and evenly using a heat gun or a suitable hot-air tool. It can be flexibly cut to the desired length prior to installation.
