Reliable insulation and protection against environmental influences

When heated, the tubing shrinks evenly and fits snugly around cables or connection points. This reliably insulates electrical contacts while protecting them from moisture, dust, UV radiation, and corrosion. The material used is flame-retardant, halogen-free, and free of PBB, PBBO, and PBBE. The lead content is less than 10 ppm, and the cadmium content is less than 5 ppm.

Easy to Use

The shrinking process begins at a temperature of approximately 70 °C. A temperature of at least 100 °C is recommended for complete shrinkage. The heat-shrink tubing can be applied quickly and evenly using a heat gun or a suitable hot-air tool. It can be flexibly cut to the desired length prior to installation.
