Anker SOLIX BP7000 7 kWh Expansion Battery

The Anker SOLIX BP7000 Expansion Battery (MPN: A17E23Z1-80) adds 7 kWh of rated capacity to a compatible Anker SOLIX Solar Bank Max AC. The LFP battery module is integrated into the modular system design and is intended exclusively for use with the Solarbank Max AC. With up to five BP7000 modules, the total rated capacity—including the main unit—can be gradually expanded to a maximum of 42 kWh.

Targeted expansion of the storage system

A single battery increases the rated capacity of a Solarbank Max AC from 7 to 14 kWh. By adding additional modules, system configurations with 21, 28, 35, or 42 kWh are possible. This allows the storage capacity to be adapted to energy needs, the existing PV system, and the household’s consumption profile. The battery supplements the existing storage cells but does not have its own AC connection or a standalone inverter. Charging and discharging processes are controlled by the Solarbank Max AC main unit. Therefore, it cannot be used separately as a home storage system or power source.

Exclusively for the Solarbank Max AC

The battery is intended exclusively for the Anker SOLIX Solarbank Max AC. It cannot be combined with the BP1600 or BP2700 battery modules or with other Solarbank models. Before purchasing, check the model name and part number of your existing main unit. The connection to the main unit is made via the designated battery terminals. The modules are assembled into a single upright storage system and communicate with each other via CAN. Separate universal battery terminals or use with inverters from other manufacturers are not supported.

Installation and Assembly

Due to its weight, the module should be moved and installed by at least two people. A solid, level, and sufficiently load-bearing surface is required for installation. The specified anti-tilt protection and the installation instructions for the respective number of expansion batteries must be followed. The housing has an IP66 protection rating and is intended for indoor or outdoor use. However, the installation site must be protected from standing water and allow for unobstructed heat dissipation. Ventilation openings and pressure relief valves must not be covered or damaged. The optional mounting base is not included in the scope of delivery.
