Dekaseal MS-5 is an MS polymer-based adhesive with high adhesion and initial strength, which is suitable for creating elastic bonds between components. Due to its high adhesive strength, clamping times can be reduced or clamps can be eliminated altogether. In addition, Dekaseal MS-5 can also be used as a sealant when bonding similar materials (with similar stiffness) or when using mechanical fastening methods.

- Elastic connections and sealing in train, caravan, motorhome, and truck construction
- Bonding windows in buses, trains, caravans, and motorhomes
- Bonding edge profiles of trailers with aluminum or polyester
- Bonding polyester parts with metal frames.
PROPERTIES
- Free of solvents, isocyanates, and PVC
- Very good UV resistance and aging resistance
- High initial strength. Generally good adhesion without primer on various substrates
- Permanently elastic in a temperature range from -40°C to +120°C
- Neutral, odorless, and fast curing
- Can be painted over (wet on wet) after skin formation; this generally does not affect curing
- Compatible with most industrial coating or painting systems, both alkyd resin and emulsion paints (due to the large number of different types of industrial paints, a compatibility test is recommended!).
We recommend using our spoilers and roof ducts only with Dekalin Dekasyl adhesive in combination with Dekalin DEKAvator, as this has been tested in a test laboratory and achieved the best results there.
