Dekaphon 9735 underbody protection from Dekalin (MPN 6306DSY) is a durable protective coating with anti-corrosive properties. Dekaphon 9735 is an underbody protection system specifically designed for wooden floor panels, such as those used in the construction of caravans, motorhomes, and trailers. The product has excellent sound-absorbing properties and also provides durable protection for the chassis of motorhomes, cars, trucks, and buses, for example. Once dry, a robust film covers the treated areas, which can withstand a wide range of climatic conditions as well as gravel and stone chips.

Areas of application

Dekaphon 9735 can be used to reinforce underfloors, plywood, or wheel arches. It serves as an underbody protection coating on wooden floor panels in caravan and motorhome construction, as well as corrosion protection for chassis, wheel arches, and (side) sills in automobile, bus, and truck construction.

Adhesion

In general, Dekaphon 9735 adheres very well (without special pretreatment) to a range of clean, dry, dust- and grease-free substrates. It is always advisable to carry out an adhesion test with the relevant materials beforehand. Further information is available directly from us or from Dekalin.

Processing

Shake for 2-3 minutes before use. The surface to be treated must be clean, dry, and free of rust, dust, and grease. Dekaphon 9735 can be applied without additional equipment as it is supplied in a spray can. The optimum spraying distance is approx. 30 cm. Spray the surface with Dekaphon 9735 until a layer of the desired thickness is achieved (for warranty programs, please refer to the exact guidelines). If thicker layers are desired, it is recommended to allow the layers to dry in between. The product can be sprayed on without streaks or web formation and does not drip. Turn the can upside down after use and spray briefly to clean the spray head. Dirty surfaces and dirty fixtures can easily be restored to a "fresh" condition with solvent.
