With this 3m battery cable (MPN BC-03), Fothermo water boilers can be connected directly to a suitable battery and heated. This allows excess energy from photovoltaic-charged batteries to be converted into heat in the boiler.
Fothermo boilers can be used with 12V and 24V batteries. Depending on the mode set, the boiler either uses the energy provided by the battery immediately or the excess energy after the battery is fully charged.
Charging recommendation:
- The 10-liter boiler can be charged perfectly using a 12V or 24V battery system.
- The 30-liter boiler can be easily charged using a 24V battery. If it were to be heated using a 12V battery, the heating times would be very long.
- The 80-liter boiler can be charged using a 24V battery. However, the relatively long heating times must be taken into account. Depending on the application and water consumption, this may still be a viable option.
