Growatt’s ARK high-voltage storage system offers flexible deployment thanks to its modular design and can be expanded as needed. A battery tower can be assembled using a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 10 ARK high-voltage batteries. A BMS control unit and a set of connecting cables are included for commissioning with a compatible inverter. A battery base is available for floor installation. The A2 version is the successor to the previous ARK 2.5H-A1 and can also be easily combined with it.
Important Note —According to Growatt, retroactive expansion is only permitted within the first three months after commissioning and following prior inspection by Growatt. After more than three months of operation, the existing battery capacity should not be expanded. Please take your future storage needs into account when selecting the set.
The Growatt high-voltage battery system includes:
- ARK 2.5H-A2 high-voltage LiFePO4 battery, 2.56 kWh (2–10 units, depending on selection)
- BDC 95045-A1 BMS control unit
- Connection cable set from ARK battery to inverter
- Battery base for floor installation

ARK 2.5H-A2 High-Voltage Battery
The Growatt ARK 2.5H-A2 high-voltage battery (MPN ARK-2.5H-A2) is a LiFePO4 storage system with high cycle stability and a long service life. Its modular, stackable design allows for flexible use in various scenarios and is easy to install. The battery delivers outstanding performance under heavy loads and, with its IP65 rating, is also suitable for outdoor installation. A soft-start feature is used to prevent overvoltage in the system. The A2 version is the successor to the previous ARK 2.5H-A1 and can also be easily combined with it.

Soft Start for System Protection
The soft-start mechanism is a protective feature used in the Growatt battery to safeguard the system against overvoltage. When the battery is started or powered on, the current is gradually increased to protect the system from damage that could be caused by a sudden voltage spike. This ensures smooth and safe operation of the battery system.

BMS Control Unit
The Growatt BDC 95045-A1 BMS serves as the central monitoring and control unit within the ARK high-voltage battery system and facilitates communication with the Growatt MIN and MOD-XH inverters. It enables the connection of up to 10 battery modules, each with a capacity of 2.56 kWh. These modules can be connected in series to form a battery tower with a total capacity of up to 25.64 kWh. Storage towers can also be connected to one another; one BMS is required per tower.
