Kemo M094N Marten Repellent Marten Deterrent

The Kemo M094N Marten Stopper generates strong, pulsating ultrasonic tones that are perceived as very annoying by martens and other rodents, causing them to flee. This "Marten Stopper" comes with four small ultrasonic speakers to ensure good distribution of the ultrasonic tones. Application: For repelling martens from the engine compartments of cars and trucks, where these animals gnaw on cables and other plastic parts! Or for storage rooms, basements, and attics!

Assembly instructions:

The ultrasonic module is connected as shown in the diagram. It can be operated with voltages from 12 V/DC to 15 V/DC DC (car or truck battery). Operation with a standard 12 V/DC plug-in power supply is also possible (current consumption at 12 V/DC <50mA). One to five piezo speakers can be connected. The cables to the speakers can be up to 50 m long. Because ultrasonic tones propagate in a very straight line, it is necessary to install one of the supplied speakers at each of the different locations (so that there are no "shadows"). The speakers and the module should be installed in a weather-protected location (do not expose them to direct moisture). When the module is put into operation, the built-in LED lights up. The frequency can be set on the module using a small screwdriver. When the adjustment knob on the module is set to approximately position 1, a high-pitched tone can be heard. If the adjustment is now turned further to the right, the tone becomes higher and higher and then inaudible (ultrasound). Caution! The device must be protected with a fuse (approx. 0.2A). The fuse is not included!
