Kemo M156 Sensor Power Controller 230 V/AC 1 kW

The Kemo M156 power controller can be used to control resistive or inductive loads (incandescent lamps, electric motors, electromagnets, etc.) that can be regulated in terms of power using phase angle control. At the touch of a button, the power automatically increases and decreases again and remains in the setting when the button is released. If the button is pressed briefly in the desired setting, the power controller switches off and switches back on again in the last setting when the button is pressed again. Can also be used as a light threshold in the cycle range of 5-9 seconds per rise and fall.

Installation instructions:

The module must be connected in accordance with the VDE safety regulations (contact protection, upstream fuses, fire protection, etc.) as shown in the drawing. The maximum load capacity is 6A. This means that loads (lamps, motors) up to a maximum of approx. 1380W can be connected. However, you must note that the current consumption at the moment of switching on is sometimes considerably higher, so that you should not load the dimmer with more than 1000W for large individual loads (e.g., 1000W halogen spotlights). In addition, the module will heat up depending on the connected load. It must therefore be mounted in a well-ventilated location and cooled for loads >500W. To cool the module, screw it to a well-ventilated and insulated metal part (heat sink) measuring at least 100x50x3 mm or larger using the cooling bracket.
