The Kemo M202 lead battery activator/refresher combats lead sulfate deposits, thereby increasing the service life of car batteries. Very powerful, very short current pulses actively break down lead sulfate and prevent deposits from forming. With LED display. The lead-acid battery activator can be permanently connected directly in parallel to the 12V car battery.
Circuit description
Sulfate forms on the plates of lead batteries, especially in batteries that are used infrequently or only seasonally (e.g., motorcycles with a winter break). During self-discharge while the battery is not in use, crystalline sulfates slowly cover the lead plates and lead to a reduction in the capacity of the lead-acid battery. The lead-acid battery activator is simply connected in parallel to the battery and uses very short, very powerful current pulses to reduce the sulfate deposits and allow existing sulfate deposits to slowly break down again. It does not matter whether the battery is currently being charged or not. A trickle charger can therefore be connected at the same time, e.g., for motorcycle batteries. The lead battery activator also extends the service life of car batteries that are in daily active use.

Commissioning:
When the lead battery activator is connected to the battery and the battery has a voltage of at least 11V, the built-in LED flashes briefly at intervals of approx. 5 seconds to indicate the operating status.
