This solar charge controller is connected between a 12 V/DC solar cell (open-circuit voltage 12-30 V/DC) and a 12 V/DC battery to prevent the battery from overcharging. LED indicators for "battery full" (approx. 14.4 V/DC) and "charging in progress."
Circuit description:
This module is an electronic switch that activates the connection to the solar cells when the battery is empty (< 13.4 V) and deactivates it again when the battery is full (> 14.4 V). A Power Mos transistor with almost loss-free switching is used as the switching element.
