With the 3kW screw-in heating element from my-PV (MPN: 20-0500), you can profitably use your PV electricity and generate hot water with the AC-THOR and SOL-THOR power managers AC-THOR 9s and SOL-THOR power managers. They control the heating elements continuously and simultaneously adjust the output precisely to the available solar energy surplusthe heating cartridges are ideal for installation in fresh water and buffer storage tanks and, thanks to their special design, offer an exceptionally long service life. They are also equipped with an integrated safety temperature limiter. For applications where higher temperatures are required, such as above 90°C in the buffer tank, we also offer models without a thermostat.

Infinitely adjustable with the AC-THOR & AC-THOR 9s

You can conveniently set your desired hot water temperature using the rotary knob. The two power managers automatically detect when the temperature has been reached and switch to standby mode.

Self-sufficient PV heating – continuously regulated by SOL-THOR

The 3kW screw-in heating element is also compatible with SOL-THOR. You can set the desired temperature directly using a rotary knob. A safety temperature limiter is already integrated. For higher temperatures, heating rods without a thermostat are available, but also with a safety temperature limiter. In such cases, the temperature sensor included with the SOL-THOR must be used to stop the heating process. Important: You can remove the safety plug from the 3kW heating element, as the Power Manager does not require direct wiring.
