All BIG-L series systems are based on our 100W mono solar cells. Our BIG-L 100W / 101Ah / 12V solar system produces an average of 400 watt hours of clean energy in summer. The included Offgridtec AGM battery can store a total of around 1280Wh of energy. With a 50% discharge, you can use 642Wh of this daily while still enjoying a long battery life
Details on energy production and storage
This system produces a daily output of around 400 watt hours for you in summer. In winter, it still averages 50-90 watt hours. The reference location for this calculation was Hamburg; the further south the system is located, the more power can be expected. On sunny days, the daily yield is naturally well above average.
The included Steca PR 2020 charge controller meets even high demands and allows you to easily expand your set to up to 3 x 100W module power. This means that sufficient electricity can also be generated in the winter months. The included battery can store around 643Wh of energy when fully charged – at 50% discharge. Charge controllers from the Steca PR series have a wide range of functions and an LCD display showing the most important statistics and configuration options. German instructions are included.

What can I power with this system?
The energy supplied is easily sufficient for small consumers such as notebooks, smartphones, 12V televisions, or simply lighting. The system can also power several such consumers simultaneously for hours. Even a small, energy-efficient 12V refrigerator could be used in such a system. With a 100W system, you can already do quite a lot in the hobby sector. If you buy a 230V voltage converter to go with it, the possibilities are greatly expanded.
