Our affordable 130-watt DIY kit. This low-cost version does away with pre-made cables and relies on simple charge controller technology. The result is an unbeatable price that gets you a 130-watt V2 Offgridtec mono solar module, a Victron PWM Light 20A 12V charge controller, a 15-meter 4mm² solar cable, and MC-4 connectors for assembling your system. We’re also including the basic version of our battery connection cable
The 130-watt solar kit—here’s what’s included
- 1 x 130-watt V2 Mono solar module from Offgridtec - 018390
- 1 x Victron PWM Light 20A 12V
- 1.5 m 6 mm² battery cable with flat fuse holder, 30 A fuse, and terminal clamps
- Offgridtec Y-connector splitter sockets (pair)
- Solar connector set (pair) – female + male, 4–6 mm², Type 4 PV-KBT4/6I
- Lapp Ölflex Solar XLR-R 1X4 WH/BK Cable
What can I do with this?
This kit forms the basis for a 12V solar system. You can draw up to 10A of 12V current directly from the load output of the included charge controller to power your devices. The kit is highly versatile and contains all the necessary components to generate electricity for charging a 12V battery.
How much power can I generate with this kit?
The 130W panel produces an annual average of 520 Wh per day. More on sunny days, less on rainy days. Other factors (tilt, temperature, soiling, latitude, weather conditions, etc.) also affect the performance of a solar system.
Information on the cables and small parts (connectors)
In addition to the module and charge controller, the kit also includes all the connectors, cables, and small parts you need to assemble the connection cables for your solar system.
The following parts are included with the module connection cable:
- 15 m solar cable (4 mm²), MC4 connectors, 4 mm² wire end sleeves
The battery connection cable includes the following parts:
- 2 x 1.5 m 6 mm² solar cable, 6 mm² wire end ferrules, M8 ring terminals, and battery terminal clamps
