Since we sell batteries and rechargeable batteries, as well as devices containing batteries and rechargeable batteries, we are required by the Battery Ordinance (BattV) to inform you of the following:

1.1 Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household waste; instead, you are legally obligated to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries. After use, you can either return the batteries to us or return them free of charge at a nearby location (e.g., in stores or at municipal collection points). Batteries and rechargeable batteries are marked with a crossed-out trash can and the chemical symbol of the hazardous substance, namely "Cd" for cadmium, "Hg" for mercury, and "Pb" for lead.
