The 122Ah solar battery from Offgridtec (MPN: 2-01-001485) is a sealed AGM lead-acid battery with high cycle life, designed for use in solar, emergency power, and energy supply systems. Thanks to maintenance-free AGM technology, low self-discharge, and a high cycle count, it is suitable for both cyclic applications and reliable standby operation. The robust ABS housing and durable construction make this energy storage solution ideal for stationary applications with high demands on reliability and operational safety.
Reliable AGM energy storage for solar and emergency power applications
- 122 Ah AGM battery with a nominal voltage of 12 V (capacity after 10HR: 120 Ah)
- Maintenance-free AGM technology with a sealed case
- Low self-discharge of approximately 2% per month at 25 °C
- Up to 500 cycles at a 50% depth of discharge
- Up to 1,200 cycles at a 30% depth of discharge
- Suitable for cyclic operation and standby applications
- Robust ABS plastic housing
- Up to 8 years of trickle charging or standby operation under suitable conditions
AGM technology for low-maintenance operation
The battery utilizes proven AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology. In this process, the electrolyte is bound within glass fiber mats and cannot leak out freely. As a result, the battery operates in a fully sealed state and does not require water refills during operation. At the same time, this design ensures high operational reliability and a dependable power supply in a wide variety of stationary applications. The lead alloy used, along with modern manufacturing processes, ensures consistent performance and a long service life.
Suitable for cyclic and stationary applications
The Offgridtec AGM 122Ah was developed for both regular charge and discharge cycles and standby operation. This makes it suitable for, among other things:
- Solar installations and off-grid systems
- Uninterruptible power supplies (UPS)
- Emergency power supplies
- Telecommunications systems
- Alarm and security systems
- Communication systems
- DC power supplies
- Automated technical systems
Thanks to its low self-discharge rate, the battery remains reliably operational even during extended periods of inactivity.
High cycle life for regular use
The achievable service life of a lead-acid battery depends largely on the depth of discharge (DoD). The less the battery is discharged on a regular basis, the more charge cycles it can achieve.
- 500 cycles at 50% depth of discharge
- 1,200 cycles at 30% depth of discharge
Charging Guidelines
For a long service life, a temperature-dependent charging voltage is recommended. In cyclic operation, this ranges from 14.40 to 14.60 V at 25 °C. For standby operation, a float charging voltage of 13.50 to 13.80 V is recommended. The maximum recommended charging current is 36 A. Charging technology designed for AGM batteries supports gentle and efficient operation.

Battery Regulations
You are legally required to return batteries. After use, you can return them to our retail location or to a local municipal collection point.
Important Note According to the Battery Ordinance (BattV)
Regulation on the Take-Back and Disposal of Used Batteries. Batteries and rechargeable batteries do not belong in household trash. Consumers are legally required to return used batteries. Returns can be made at Offgridtec.com or at the municipality’s public collection points.
Pursuant to Section 10 of the Battery Act, the seller must collect a deposit of 7.50 euros, including sales tax, if the end consumer does not have a used starter battery at the time of purchase. If the seller does not collect a deposit—because the used battery was disposed of properly or an old-for-new exchange took place—this amount is also not deductible from the purchase price.
