Pylontech SC0500-40S control unit for H48050 Powercube X1

The SC0500-40S from Pylontech acts as the central control and monitoring unit for the Powercube X1 V2 high-voltage battery system. The integrated battery management system (BMS) enables seamless communication with compatible inverters. Two to ten Pylontech H48050/H48074 battery modules can be connected to the BMS. These modules are connected in series to form a battery tower in combination with a control unit. If several towers are connected in parallel, each tower requires its own control unit.

Pylontech's long-proven communication protocol is directly supported by a wide range of inverters. The BMS control unit protects against:

• Deep discharge and overcharging
• overvoltage during charging
• excessive currents during charging and discharging
• over- and under-temperature
• Short circuits and reverse polarity

The Powercube X1 energy storage system

The Powercube X1 series from Pylontech is a latest-generation high-voltage battery system. The complete system is flexible in use and can be expanded as required. One BMS control unit is required per Powecube X1 tower for operation. Caution: The Powercube does not have a soft start circuit.
