The Offgridtec PV1-F 2×2.5 mm² two-conductor black solar cable (MPN: 024649) is a twin-conductor cable designed for wiring photovoltaic systems. Two fine-stranded, tinned copper conductors, each with a cross-sectional area of 2.5 mm², run parallel to each other and are connected by a separator. This allows both conductors to be laid together and separated from each other if necessary. The cable is rated for up to 1,500 V DC, is UV-, weather-, and ozone-resistant, and is sold by the meter.

Two conductors in a single solar cable

The two conductors are connected in parallel via a separator strip and can therefore be installed together. If necessary, the twin cable can be split into two individual cables. This facilitates clear cable routing within the PV installation, particularly where cable paths run parallel.

Tinned copper conductors and cross-linked construction

The interior features fine-stranded, tinned copper conductors, each with a cross-sectional area of 2.5 mm². The conductor construction complies with Class 5 according to VDE 0295 and IEC 60228. The conductor insulation and outer jacket are made of radiation-crosslinked copolymer. The cable construction is also halogen-free and designed to be notch- and abrasion-resistant.

Designed to withstand UV, weather, and ozone exposure

The solar cable is designed for use in photovoltaic systems and is UV- and weather-resistant in accordance with HD 605/A1. Additionally, it is specified as ozone-resistant in accordance with EN 50396. The operating temperature range is from -40 to +100 °C. The rated voltage is 600/1,000 V AC or 900/1,500 V DC.

Sold by the meter for flexible cable lengths
