With the priority circuit, you can determine which power source should be used preferentially—if that voltage source fails, the system switches to the backup power source.

Application example 1 – Mains priority circuit

• The 230 V AC mains supply is connected to input AC2 (higher priority)
• This means the battery is conserved and the inverter is simultaneously protected from external voltage.
• Only when AC2 loses power does input AC1 switch on the power supply via the battery and inverter

Application example 2 – Inverter priority connection

• The inverter is connected to input AC2 (higher priority)
• This means that power is primarily drawn from the battery via the inverter (e.g., when using off-grid solar systems)
• Only when the inverter shuts down due to deep discharge protection is the 230 V AC mains supply switched on via input AC1
