Recovery of deeply discharged "dead" batteries

Unlike most other brands and product lines, the Blue Smart IP22 charger will attempt to recharge a deeply discharged battery by forcing a weak charging current into it. Normal charging will then resume once there is sufficient voltage between the battery terminals.

trendsetting efficiency

With an efficiency of up to 94%, these chargers generate up to four times less heat compared to the industry standard. Once the battery is fully charged, power consumption drops to less than 0.5 watts, which is about five to ten times better than the industry standard.

adaptive 7-step charging algorithm

The 12/30(3) Blue Smart charger features microprocessor-controlled, "adaptive" battery management. "Adaptive" means that the charging process is automatically adjusted to the type of battery use.

Storage mode: Less maintenance and aging when the battery is idle

Storage mode is activated whenever there has been no discharge within 24 hours. The charge maintenance voltage is then reduced to 2.2V/cell (13.2V for a 12V battery) to minimize gas evolution and thus prevent corrosion on the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is increased to the gassing voltage level. This achieves a kind of equalization charge that prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation—the two main causes of premature battery failure.

Nein, dies ist nicht zulässig. Es darf nur ein und der selbe Batterietyp angeschlossen werden. Jedoch kann die Kapazität (Ah), jeweiligen Batteriebänke, unterschiedlich ausfallen.
