Victron Busbar 150A 4P + Cover 70V DC Busbar

The Victron Energy Busbar 150A 4P + cover (MPN: VBB115040020) is a compact DC busbar for the central distribution of high DC currents. Central distribution in the DC system

A busbar serves as a common electrical connection point for multiple DC lines. Instead of connecting various high-current lines directly to a single battery or device terminal, they can be connected centrally via the busbar. The Victron Busbar provides four high-current connections for this purpose.

Tinned copper busbar with four connection bolts

The current-carrying busbar is made of tinned copper and has dimensions of 1.4 × 18 mm. The four connection bolts are made of stainless steel and have a diameter of 1/4 inch or 6.35 mm. Victron uses tinned copper for the hex nuts.

The manufacturer specifies a recommended tightening torque of 7 Nm or 60 lbf·inch for the connections. The wires are connected using appropriately sized ring terminals.

Removable Transparent Protective Cover

A transparent polycarbonate cover is located over the connection points. This cover can be removed for installation or maintenance and then used to cover the high-current connections again. The black base of the busbar is made of ABS.

With the cover installed, the busbar measures 45 × 152.4 × 31.8 mm and weighs approximately 0.2 kg. Thanks to its compact design, it can be used as a central distribution point in appropriately designed DC installations.
