Function of the Cyrix battery couplers in general
The Cyrix Li-Load 12/24v-120a is a high performance microprocessor controlled relay that automatically connects batteries in parallel when one of them reaches a predetermined voltage value (indicating that the battery is being charged) and, disconnects the batteries again when the voltage drops below the float voltage value (indicating that one or both batteries are being discharged). Cyrix battery couplers are excellent for replacing isolation diodes. Their main feature is that there is virtually no voltage loss, so there is no need to increase the output voltage of the alternators or battery chargers.
Mode of operation of the Cyrix-Li-Load 12/24v 120a
The Cyrix-Li-Load 12/24v 120a shuts down when its control input reaches the "free floating " (open circuit) state. When the battery voltage recovers after shutdown (this happens when no other loads are connected to the battery), the output of the bms goes high and the Cyrix turns back on after 30 seconds. After 3 power-on attempts, the Cyrix will remain off until the voltage has risen above 13 v (or 26 v or 52 v) for at least 30 seconds (this is an indication that the battery is recharging).

Cyrix-Li-Load as a perfect complement to the vE.Bus bms
