The Victron Energy MEGA-fuse 500A/32V (pack of 5) is a high-current fuse in the MEGA design for appropriately rated DC circuits. With a rated current of 500 A and a rated voltage of 32 V, it is suitable for high-power DC installations when used with a compatible MEGA fuse holder. The package contains five identical fuses.

Protection for high-power DC circuits
The MEGA fuse is used to provide electrical protection for DC circuits and interrupts the circuit in the event of a sufficiently high overcurrent or short circuit. The 500-A version is designed for 32-V DC systems. When selecting the appropriate fuse, in addition to the load, the wire gauge, permissible current rating, and the requirements of the connected components must also be taken into account.
MEGA design for compatible fuse holders
The fuse is designed for appropriately rated MEGA fuse holders. The fuse element is made of copper, and the housing is made of nylon and nickel-plated copper. A tightening torque of 12 ± 1 Nm is specified for the screw connection; the maximum tightening torque is 18 Nm.
