Victron MultiPlus-II 24/3000/70-32 230V GX

The Multiplus-II 24/3000/70-32 GX is a high-end device combination from Victron Energy (MPN PMP242306000) that combines classic Multiplus components with an extremely powerful sine wave inverter, a battery charger, and a transfer switch in a compact housing. This extends the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions to 50 A and expands the potential range of applications to include ESS applications. The inverter module delivers a full 3000 W under non-linear load, or 2400 W under linear continuous load. The 24 V battery charger is also very well proportioned with a charging capacity of 70 A and is supplemented by a 32 A transfer switch, which allows you to switch back and forth between the AC connections at lightning speed.

A maximum mains or generator current can be set on the MultiPlus-II 24/3000/70-32 GX. The MultiPlus-II GX thus takes other connected AC consumers into account and only uses the "leftover" current to charge the battery. This prevents the generator or mains connection from being overloaded (PowerControl function). The PowerAssist function adds a new dimension to the PowerControl principle. Load peaks often only occur for a limited period of time. In such cases, the MultiPlus-II GX immediately compensates for insufficient generator, shore power, or mains power with energy from the battery. When the load is reduced, i.e., when consumers are switched off, the energy that is then available again can be used to charge the batteries.

Solar power: AC power even during a power failure

The device can be used with off-grid and grid-connected PV systems as well as other alternative energy systems. It can be used with both solar charge controllers and grid-connected inverters.

Maximum flexibility thanks to two AC outputs

The main output ensures uninterrupted operation. In the event of a power failure or interruption of the land/generator power, the MultiPlus-II GX takes over the supply to the connected consumers. The switchover is so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is guaranteed. The second output only supplies power when AC power is available at the input of the MultiPlus-II GX. Loads that must not discharge the battery, such as a water heater, can be connected to this output.

Many options for system expansion

The settings can be changed in a matter of minutes using the VEConfigure software (a computer or laptop and an MK3 USB interface are required for this).Several monitoring and control options are available: Color Control GX, Venus GX, Octo GX, CANvu GX, laptop, computer, Bluetooth (with the optional VE.Bus Smart Dongle), battery monitor, Digital Multi control panel.
