Supplies 12 V loads from a 24 V system

Remote On/Off for External Control

The Orion features a connection for remote on/off switching. This eliminates the need for a high-current switch directly in the input wiring. Remote control can be achieved, for example, via a low-current switch. Another possible application is control via a motor’s run/stop switch.

Parallel Connection for Additional Output Current

If a single unit is insufficient to provide the required power supply, multiple Orion converters with adjustable output can be operated in parallel. Victron specifies that up to five units can be connected in parallel. This allows the available output current to be increased for appropriately sized applications.
