Victron Orion-Tr 12/12-18 220W DC-DC voltage converter, isolated
The Orion-TR 12/12-18 from Victron Energy (MPN ORI121222110) is a galvanically isolated DC-DC voltage converter that provides regulated DC voltage and thus ensures trouble-free operation of your DC consumers. The compact Orion-TR DC-DC voltage converter converts the DC input voltage (8-17V) into a regulated 12V output voltage (10-15V) and delivers a constant continuous current of 18A, which corresponds to a power of 220W.
Thanks to the Orion-Tr 12/12-18, you can supply every 12V consumer with exactly the right voltage. The correct voltage is also guaranteed with longer cables, as the Orion can adjust the voltage to compensate for cable losses. For many sensitive electronic devices, maintaining the exact operating voltage is essential for smooth operation. Furthermore, the Orion-Tr 12/12-18 can be connected in parallel with identical devices and has a remote-controlled on/off switch.

The remote-controlled on/off connection eliminates the need for a high-current switch in the input wiring. The remote-controlled on/off connection can be controlled with an energy-saving switch or the motor's run/stop switch (see manual).
