The VE Transfer Switch from Victron Energy (MPN COS230103100) is equipped with 2 inputs and one output and automatically transfers the available AC power from one of the inputs to the output. It is compatible with any Victron inverter, provided that the rated power of the inverter does not exceed the rated power of the transfer switch. In addition, the transfer switch automatically switches between different power sources. For example, between a generator and shore power, an inverter and a generator, or an inverter and shore power.
The transfer switch can also be used to connect a MultiPlus inverter/charger to two different AC sources, such as shore power and a generator, instead of being connected to a single AC source.
