The Votronic MobilPower SMI 1200 Sinus ST inverter 12 V DC / 230 V AC is designed for use in special vehicles, high-quality motorhomes, and other areas where high quality and reliability are required. It is designed for high continuous loads and delivers 1200W continuous power and 200W short-term peak power for handling high starting currents.

Even when on the road, people don't want to forego the comforts of everyday life. Electrical appliances not only increase comfort in motorhomes, but also determine the equipment in ambulances or fire trucks, whether it's sensitive medical devices, notebooks, power tools, or your beloved espresso machine. All these devices require 230 V mains voltage, which is provided by an inverter from the on-board battery.

The SMI 1200 ST: modern inverter technology from Germany

The devices operate according to the latest technology in a switched mode design. Microprocessor control in conjunction with modern SMD technology has made it possible to achieve a compact design. Noise- and friction-optimized smooth-running fans (speed-controlled) ensure perfect cooling and thus trouble-free continuous operation even at full power. Integrated protective circuits also monitor the thermal and electrical load as well as overloads and short circuits in the output circuit. The inverters feature intelligent power-saving control with automatic shutdown. This ensures that no more power is consumed in idle mode than is absolutely necessary. To protect the batteries, an undervoltage protection system is integrated, which switches off the inverter when the battery voltage drops.

Flexible installation of the inverter display panel possible

To position the inverter optimally, the display panel can be removed by removing the two mounting screws and then reinserted in the desired position (rotatable in 90° increments) and screwed back in place. If the inverter is installed in a location that is difficult to access, the display panel can also be used as a remote control. To do this, remove the control panel from the device, reconnect it to the device using the 5 m control cable, and mount it in the desired location.

Optionally, an additional remote control can also be connected if you want a display directly on the device and in the board area.
