The Luxen Solar Luxneri N5 series 450W Full Black monocrystalline and bifacial solar module (MPN LNDX-450ND) sets new standards in solar technology. LECO N-TOPCon Cell Technology
The advanced TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) technology is a further development of PERC technology and aims to increase the efficiency of solar cells. This technology is complemented by Low Efficiency Cell Optimization (LECO), which aims to further optimize the overall performance of the cells, particularly under less-than-ideal lighting conditions. During the manufacturing of solar modules, an ultra-thin oxide layer is applied, followed by a conductive layer, resulting in what is known as a passivated contact. This design not only improves the performance of the solar cells in low-light conditions but also contributes to higher annual energy production.
In addition, the combination of TOPCon and bifacial technology enables even greater efficiency, as the cells are able to absorb 15% more reflected light. These synergistic effects lead to a significant increase in energy yield and make these solar cells an outstanding choice for modern photovoltaic applications.
Half-Cell Technology
In half-cell technology (also known as “half-cut”), conventional silicon cells are split into two halves using a laser. These halved cells are then connected in parallel at the center, which reduces resistance losses and thereby increases the solar module’s power output.
Bifacial Cells
Thanks to their transparent backsides and special cell technology, bifacial modules offer a decisive advantage—they also harness reflected light. This leads to a significantly increased energy yield and makes these modules a particularly efficient choice for your solar system.
Low BOS & LCOE
The term “BOS” (Balance of System) refers to the total cost of installing a solar system, including mounting systems, cabling, and inverters. A low BOS value indicates a cost-effective installation that improves the system’s economic efficiency.
The “LCOE” (Levelized Cost of Energy) calculates the average cost per kilowatt-hour over the lifetime of the energy project. A low LCOE value means that the energy generated is cost-effective, which increases competitiveness compared to other energy sources.
