The Luxneri N5 series bifaccial 500W Full Black solar module from Luxen Solar (MPN LNDB-500ND) sets new standards in solar technology. LECO N-TOPCon cell technology

Advanced TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) technology is a further development of PERC technology and aims to increase the efficiency of solar cells. This technology is complemented by Low Efficiency Cell Optimization (LECO), which aims to further optimize the overall performance of the cells, especially under less than ideal lighting conditions. During the manufacture of the solar modules, an ultra-thin oxide layer and a subsequent conductive layer are applied, resulting in what is known as a passivated contact. This design not only improves the performance of the solar cells in low light conditions, but also contributes to higher annual energy production.

In addition, the combination of TOPCon and bifacial technology enables even greater power efficiency, as the cells are able to absorb 15% more reflected light. These synergistic effects result in a significant increase in energy yield, making the solar cells an outstanding choice for modern photovoltaic applications.

Half-cell technology

In half-cell technology (also known as "half-cut"), conventional silicon cells are cut in half using a laser. These halved cells are then connected in parallel at the center, which reduces resistance losses and thus increases the performance of the solar module.
