With the Growatt battery retrofit kit (MPN: 024894), you can easily expand your existing solar system. Depending on your selection, the kit includes 3 to 10 stackable ARK 2.5H-A1 high-voltage batteries featuring modern and safe LiFePO4 technology and a nominal voltage of 51.2 V per battery. The matching control unit (HVC 60050-C2 BMS) and the battery base for stable placement are also included. In addition, you’ll receive a 3-phase SPH 8000TL3 BH-UP hybrid inverter that works optimally with the batteries. The included connection cable set ensures that the battery tower can be connected directly to the inverter—for quick and easy installation.
Important Note – According to Growatt, retroactive expansion is only permitted within the first three months after commissioning and following prior inspection by Growatt. After more than three months of operation, the existing battery capacity should not be expanded. Please take your future storage needs into account when selecting the set.

Growatt ARK 2.5H-A1 High-Voltage Battery
The Growatt ARK 2.5H-A1 high-voltage battery (MPN ARK-2.5H-A1) is a LiFePO4 storage unit with high cycle stability and a long service life. Its modular, stackable design allows for flexible use in various scenarios and is easy to install. The battery delivers outstanding performance under heavy loads and, with its IP65 rating, is also suitable for outdoor installation. A soft-start feature is used to prevent overvoltage in the system.

The ARK Battery System
Thanks to its modular design, the ARK system is flexible and can be expanded as needed. A battery tower can be configured with a minimum of 2 and up to 10 storage modules; multiple towers can also be installed within a single system. Operation requires one BMS control unit per tower, as well as a connection cable set to the corresponding inverter. For ground installation, an additional battery base is required per tower. The ARK high-voltage storage systems are compatible with the MIN and MOD-XH inverters, as well as the three-phase SPH and SPA inverters. Depending on the inverter series, a different control unit, a different set of connection cables, and a different number of batteries required to start the system are needed. The ARK-XH system starts with 2 batteries, while the ARK-HV system starts with 3.

BMS Control Unit HVC 60050-C2
The Growatt HVC-60050-C2 BMS is a central monitoring and control unit that is part of the ARK HV high-voltage battery system and supports communication with the Growatt SPA and SPH inverters. Up to 10 battery modules, each with a capacity of 2.56 kWh, can be connected to this BMS. These modules can be connected in series to form a battery tower with a total capacity of up to 25.64 kWh. Control parameters include state of charge (SOC), grid voltage, current, cell voltage, cell temperature, and PCBA temperature measurement. By precisely monitoring these parameters, the BMS ensures optimal battery performance and longevity. The cable set for easy installation and the base for excellent stability are already included.
