The HMS-800W-2T (MPN: HMS-800W-2T) from Hoymiles is the perfect micro inverter for a balcony power plant. In addition to the integratedWiFi module, this compact, lightweight device (weighing only 3.2 kg) is ideal for solar power generation with up to two solar panels with an output of 320 to 540+W each. As with all other Hoymiles micro inverters, it is suitable for long operating hours and a wide range of PV module applications, as its start voltage is very low (only 22V) and the DC input range of the operating voltage (16-60V) is extremely wide.
The inverter was specially developed for use in mini PV systems and features a high-quality WiFi module. Installation is effortless thanks to the user-friendly HMS Plug&Play cable. The micro inverter can be connected directly to a power outlet without the need for complex cabling. In addition, the HMS-800-2T simplifies system monitoring by providing real-time access to production data via a direct connection to a smartphone. Furthermore, the S-Miles Cloud enables remote monitoring.

Two MPP trackers for optimal solar yields
Maximum Power Point Tracker technology generates the best possible yield from a solar system. The MPPT determines the optimal ratio between irradiance, module temperature, and solar cell type throughout the day. The two MPP trackers in the HMS-800W-2T allow the optimal operating point for the two PV strings to be optimized separately. The two trackers work independently of each other, so that, for example, shading on one string would have no effect on the second.
Simple setup
PV systems with Hoymiles microinverters are very easy to plan. You do not need to install cumbersome conventional inverters. Each microinverter can be quickly mounted on the PV mounting rack or directly under the PV module. The PV module is connected to the microinverter directly on site, eliminating the risk of people being exposed to dangerously high DC voltage.
Optimal reliability
Micro inverter systems are inherently more reliable than conventional inverters. The decentralized design of a micro inverter system ensures that a fault will not cause the entire PV system to fail. Hoymiles microinverters are designed to operate at full power at ambient temperatures of up to +65°C (150°F). The microinverter housing is designed for outdoor installation and complies with protection class IP67.
