The HYT-5000HV from Hoymiles (MPN: HYT-5.0HV-EUG1) is a 5 kW hybrid inverter that lets you meet your energy needs and effectively reduce your electricity costs. With the intelligent energy management system (EMS), you can optimize your self-consumption and select from 3 different operating modes. In addition to this smart support, the S-Miles Cloud is also at your disposal. There, you can remotely diagnose your system’s performance and track it over an extended period. Thanks to its high compatibility with a wide range of battery models and its two MPP trackers, it integrates seamlessly into existing systems.

Operating Modes

Energy Consumption Mode- During the day, the solar system uses excess energy to charge the battery. When the battery is full, excess energy is fed back into the grid. At night, the battery powers the devices, and the grid takes over when the battery is empty. The battery is not charged from the grid at night.
Economy Mode– In this mode, you can set the battery’s charging time and have it charged from the grid at specific times. This can help you charge or discharge the battery at more cost-effective times, depending on electricity rates.
Backup Mode – To ensure reliable operational safety even during recurring power outages, you can set a reserve charge level for the battery. This ensures that there is always sufficient capacity to supply essential loads with power.
