my-PV AC-THOR INTL. PV Power Manager version for hot water

The international version of the AC•THOR from my-PV (MPN: 20-0103) is a continuously variable PV power manager with a power range of 0–3 kW. It is designed to efficiently control hot water, electric heat sources, and heating systems, regulating them based on the availability of PV energy and your heating needs. It fully automatically ensures home comfort, whether for hot water or heated rooms. In modern or renovated homes, the AC-THOR can replace conventional heating systems or be integrated into existing setups, such as buffer storage tanks. Any energy shortfall is covered by the utility grid. Thanks to its touchscreen display, it’s easy to operate at any time and a breeze to install. The my-PV Cloud is available to help you keep track of everything and respond as needed. In off-grid applications, the AC-THOR can operate in frequency mode. It’s compatible with leading brands such as Victron Energy, Growatt, Huawei, Studer, and SMA.

With the my-PV WiFi Meter, the AC•THOR INTL. efficiently uses excess energy from your PV system for electric heat generators such as heating elements, heating mats, or infrared panels. This increases your self-consumption and ensures that the energy is used optimally.

...with battery storage
When combined with compatible battery storage systems, it functions as a hybrid storage system, similar to the AC ELWA 2. It stores excess PV energy not only in hot water but also in the building’s thermal mass. This ensures that excess PV output is optimally utilized, even in larger systems. The priority between battery and thermal storage is perfectly regulated.

The Power Manager is versatile and, thanks to its open-system control, communicates with various energy management systems. In addition to the my-PV WiFi Meter, it can also receive surplus energy data from other sources. This enables seamless integration into custom home automation systems. The data can be visualized within the smart home system.

With the my-PV Cloud, you can keep an eye on your cost-effective heat generation at any time—in real time. The live view shows you the current output, the daily energy collected, and the history of temperature and charging power.
