Offgridtec’s backup systems are ideal for emergency power supply or for expanding an existing solar system. In addition to lithium-ion batteries from Pylontech, the systems include a suitable MultiPlus-II inverter and a Cerbo GX MK2 for system monitoring. This lets you maintain your energy supply even in the event of a power outage.
Thanks to the UPS function, the MultiPlus remains on even during a grid fault and takes over supplying the connected loads. The switchover happens so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices can be ensured.

Extended use of your backup system
To set up an ESS (Energy Storage System) with the backup system, you will need an energy meter with connection cable:
With this meter you can implement a grid-parallel installation and then monitor your energy consumption and control your energy costs. Thanks to phase compensation, you can even use the 3-phase meter for single-phase systems. This enables seamless integration of distributed energy sources and loads into the existing grid.
For the ESS to be considered in the preconfiguration, the meter must be purchased in advance or together with the system!

The US3000C storage unit is a latest-generation lithium battery. It was specially developed to meet the high demands placed on backup storage. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, maximum safety and a long service life are guaranteed even with regular deep discharge.
