The Offgridtec mounting system for east-west-facing solar installations (MPN: 025114) was specifically developed and designed for flat roofs. It allows you to install solar modules safely and efficiently without penetrating the roof. Thanks to its ballasted design, the system is held in place on the roof by weights (ballast stones), making it ideal for roofs where permanent screw fastening is not possible or desired. The kit is suitable for both residential and commercial buildings and offers a reliable solution for maximum energy yield with minimal installation effort.

What do you need for installation?
- A suitable, load-bearing flat roof area (ideally with as little slope as possible)
- The mounting rails, legs, clamps, and connecting elements included in the set
- Ballast material (e.g., concrete slabs, depending on structural requirements and location – not included)
- 4–10 solar modules (depending on selection)
- Standard tools such as wrenches and a measuring tape
- Optional: EPDM rubber strips to protect the roof surface (included in the set)
- The system is designed so that it can be installed by qualified professionals as well as by experienced DIYers with some technical skill.
What’s included?
- Mounting rails: The foundation for the module layout, including connectors for flexible adaptation to the roof surface.
- EPDM rubber strips: To place under the rails to protect your roof from damage.
- Front and rear legs: For stable installation of the rails in an east-west orientation, including all necessary screws, nuts, and clamps.
- Ballast plate holders: Special plates on which the ballast weights are placed.
- Clamps: End clamps, center clamps, and base clamps for securely fastening the solar modules to the rails.
- Connecting elements: Screws, nuts, and rail connectors for a stable and secure installation.
- Detailed installation instructions: Step-by-step instructions with diagrams for easy and safe installation.
