The complete solar systems from Offgridtec (MPN 014535) are an ideal way to produce part of your household electricity yourself and significantly reduce your overall electricity costs. In addition to a solar module and matching micro inverter, the systems contain everything you need to connect to your home's power grid and, if necessary, mount them on your balcony railing or roof. The set is designed for mounting the modules side by side. Our support team is available to provide advice and assistance for individual module installation options.
How does a solar system work?
The compact Offgridtec solar system consists of a solar module and the matching Hoymiles micro inverter for feeding into your home's power grid. Ideally, the inverter is attached directly to the substructure of the solar module and connected to the solar module with the solar connector. The AC cable is connected via the inverter's Betteri connection and routed directly to the appropriate outlet. No special settings are required to use the solar power generated in the home power grid. If power is already available from local sources, the appliances in the household use this first and then supplement it with grid power if necessary.
The complete solar system includes:
- 4x Luxen Solar 450W Bifacial Solar Module TopCon Luxneri Series N5 Full Black
- 1x Hoymiles HMS-1600-4T microinverter module inverter
- 1x Hoymiles HMS connection cable 3x1.5mm² Plug&Play (length selectable 5m – 10m – 15m)
- 4x 3m 6mm² MC-4 connection cable plug/socket extension
- Optional extras: Mounting kit for balcony railings, flat roofs, plain tiles, tiled roofs, corrugated asbestos cement and sheet metal roofs
Luxen 450W Luxneri Series 5 Full Black bifacial
The bifacial 450W Full Black solar module from the Luxneri N5 series by Luxen Solar (MPN LNDX-450ND) sets new standards in solar technology. It combines innovative technologies such as LECO N-TOPCon cell technology and a 96-cell half layout to maximize efficiency. In addition, SMBB half-cut cell technology is used to optimize performance.

Optional monitoring of your system is only possible with a data transmission unit (DTU). You can choose between the DTU Lite-S and the DTU Pro-S.
Optional mounting systems
Offgridtec solar systems are available with or without mounting kits. You can choose between mounting kits for:
- Balcony railings: with matching C-hooks
- Flat roofs: angle of inclination 10° - 60
- Plain tile roofs: with plain tile roof hooks
- Tiled roofs: with 3-way adjustable roof hooks
- Corrugated asbestos and sheet metal roofs: with stainless steel hanger bolts
Solar systems in Germany
There is currently no law or regulation in Germany governing the generation of solar power for purely personal use. The maximum limit of 600W AC PV power is a reserve value which, according to the current VDE standard, can be fed into an existing socket circuit in a house without overloading it. There are no specifications for independent circuits without additional load.
Every electrical installation should be carried out in accordance with VDE standards. However, the operation of such a solar system via a standard Schuko socket is not prohibited in principle. Notification to the Federal Network Agency is mandatory. However, there are no known cases of fines for failure to report such solar systems, nor are there any insurmountable problems with grid operators. Compliance with and implementation of standards and obligations is the responsibility of the system operator. A wealth of technical and legal information on this subject can be found on relevant websites.

Inverter.
